Research keywords with popularity >20 and difficulty <60 before building

For app store products, keyword research predicts discoverability. Target keywords with meaningful search volume (>20 popularity) but achievable competition (<60 difficulty) to validate demand before writing code.

When to use

Before building mobile apps or web tools that rely on organic search discovery. Especially critical for solo developers with limited marketing budget.

Don't do this

Building apps around high-difficulty keywords you can't rank for, or low-volume keywords nobody searches.
