Focus exclusively on highest-leverage revenue activities and kill everything else

Analyze which activities generate the most revenue per unit time. When one activity generates 80% of revenue while consuming only 20% of time, eliminate the other activities entirely to focus on scaling what works. This Pareto principle application prevents resource dilution.

When to use

When running multiple business lines or revenue streams and seeing uneven results. Particularly valuable early-stage when resources are constrained and focus determines survival.

Don't do this

Keeping low-performing activities running because they generate some revenue or because you're emotionally attached. Spreading limited resources across multiple ventures instead of dominating one.
